Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly visited President Biden and Vice President Harris at the White House on Tuesday along with 9 other mayors.

They discussed the American rescue plan and the bipartisan infrastructure law.

When asked by reporters when money could be coming in from the infrastructure plan, Mayor Kelly spoke on priorities.

“We’re gonna have a historic opportunity to fix our most urgent problems, and it’s an incredible privilege to be a mayor in an American city at this point in time,” says Mayor Kelly.

Mayor Kelly says they also discussed creating good-paying jobs and growing the economy while building a climate-resilient, equitable future for cities. Read more here
