Business Start Up 101

This is an introductory session if you are thinking about starting your own business, or maybe you recently started. In this session we will address what to consider when starting. Will discuss the business idea and review what is needed to perform a market analysis. What is the opportunity, identify customers and who is the competition. This session will also detail subjects related to technical issues to include: Materials, labor, transportation, location and technology. In this session we will address the financial feasibility of starting a business. What are the start-up cost and what to consider. How much capital is required. How to build a budget and view projections. Introduction to the business financials. What is a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Profit and Lost, Cash Flow. This session will also define legal corporate structures.
